When I was living on my todI opened up a second current account and transferred all my direct debits to that one. Then I knew that the rest was disposable income/food. I found it kept me right.

I am too sensible for my own good sometimes.But this definitely worked for me. Now, it's the missus old account that pays for most of the bills that were in her name anyway when I moved in.
