and me, i still need to learn how to cook a lot of stuff
i always figured it was something i would learn to do when i grew up. along with sewing, ironing, having a savings account, driving without using my mobile, drinking red wine, liking tea and/or coffee....

none of it has happened yet.

You drive while on your phone?! *seethes*
My Dad's an amazing cook, and passionate about it too, but every time he tries to tell me how to make something I just zone out. It doesn't help that he says "Then you just chuck in a bit of paprika" without telling me how much 'a bit' is...

occasionally i might have done
usually just texting though.

the problem with cooking is that... whilst it is lovely when other people cook for you, it takes a huge amount of time and effort that could be spent in the pub or shopping or in the gym with a ready-made lasagne in the oven!

That's worse, your eyes aren't on the road when you text!
Immediate 3 points on your license, even if you're going 5mph.
*has nearly been knocked off bikes or run over on zebra crossings because of people driving while on their phone*

oh i don't look at the phone when i text, or hardly
i text so much that my fingers do it automatically. and only for an emergency. i should really set up my iphone to work in the car though, i admit.

But you were saying on here the other day that your fancy car
Will connect to your phone.

Just read the manual and it'll be a case of job done.

you think i know where the manual is?
actually, i've never seen it.

i bet it's still in the glovebox.

Google?

what you are overlooking here
is my total and utter lack of interest in how it works. so long as it moves quickly and looks hot, this is as far as i need to go.
