Many years ago, I went to see Squeeze on their Last Orders Tour on the understanding that it was a final chance to see them.
Clearly this was false advertising. I 'm going to sue them for the sum of "Seats that aren't quite as great as Roota's, but still pretty damn good, at The Phil to see them on all future tours"

Similarly
Status Quo owe me £1.4M in bullshit fees from 1985, 7, 9, 92, 96, 2004, 6 and 9.

The Quo were a good band from '71 to '77
I feel strangely liberated to have admitted it.

They were good before that too.
I feel their first LP is a British psych-pop classic, despite it being nothing more than 12 different (slightly) takes on Pictures of Matchstick Men'. It's fucking expensive, too.

I also believe 'Down Down' and 'Caroline' to be stone cold rock classics, and am the proud owner of both on 45.

I seem to remember John Peel saying how proud he was to have dropped the Carolline riff into a DJ set at Glastonbury
and for it to get a massive reaction from all ages.
