Alt: Live and Let Die. Surely I don't need to list the many reasons*
Main Q: nothing, ever.

Alright stranger?

*Baron Samedi, "Whisper", Moore's safari jacket, the New Orleans funeral scene, the funky soundtrack (apart from McCartney's effort which I concede is his second best song after Helter Skelter), the 'gator farm, etc etc but mainly JANE SEYMOUR .

*wanks to bloody stump*

*then wanks a little bit more*

Alright Monteh?
Nice choice, I used that in my dissertation years ago so I could waffle about the hegemonic stereotypes that were overused in the time period to cause moral panics about black people!

All they were doing was cashing in on the Blaxploitation boom, surely?

Fo sho, but it was also handy for discussing racismlols
The music wasn't really good enough to be considered blaxploitation imho

It was certainly ‘Blax-lite’ but the costumes are excellent
I have a collection of Blax soundtracks that you would love. Best and most obscure of all is that of ‘Black Shampoo’* – the film itself is rare enough, the soundtrack even more so before it was reissued. Best Blax film ever? Superfly, for the middle montage alone, not to mention Curtis Mayfield's score.

*or perhaps 'Shaft In Africa'

Are you looking for seats to see Squeeze at the Phil?

(, Fri 3 Dec 2010, 14:44, Reply)
Only if they are really great seats.
Otherwise she shouldn't bother.

This is the new *hilarious* joke
that relates to double posting.

It's a joke that will run and run and run, fo' sho'.
