I imagine you know my usual MO, about 3 shades or more of eyeshadow, eyeliner and buckets of mascara :D

I never really got eyeshadow
so only wear a silvery black one if heading out for a big night. I do love the link though. Little annoyed that it's limited edition it'll probably be sold out before I get money

i LOVE playing with eyeshadows
just choose 3 colours that go well, eg a gold mac one, a slightly more pink/brown gold mac one, and a silvery white one. put the light one all over the eyelid, the darker one in the outer corners and sweep it over the eyelid to about the middle, where your pupil is when you look straight ahead. blend. then smudge the silvery white under your eyebrows and a tiny bit on the inner corners of your eyes. then nice eyeliner on the upper lash line and below the lower lashes, lashings of mascara..... done!

The MAC christmas stuff is always amazing

It's worth remembering that the MAC counter at both Manchester and Heathrow tends to keep the christmas sets in all year round, whereas the MAC stores either sell out or send them back...
/does not know this AT ALL from personal experience...

i am stiff and sore from the gym and annoyed that the snow has stopped me moving my car so i can't go out for dinner, but actually secretly quite glad to be on my warm sofa... i am also make-up queen, i buy so much make-up it's untrue. then never wear it! well, not to work anyway.

That's pretty much my limit as well
although generally at bashes I've made at least some half-arsed effort and might be wearing some eyeshadow as well. Normally I don't bother with any of it at all unless I'm feeling particularly haggard.

I used to try really hard on my appearance
In sixth form I wore a different outfit each day, wore heels probably 3 out of 5 days, and always did my makeup. Now it's scrag hair back, smack some eyeshadow and consealer and look terrible.
