If you could ask anyone in the world any question, dead or alive, famous or personal to you...
who would you ask, and what would you ask them? They _have_ to awnser honestly.

// edit //

- One famous person who you admire
- One person who is/was close to you.
- One person from politics.
- One person from pre-20th century.

Famous: Princess Diana.... presuming they keep up to date in heaven, or whatever....what's your opinion on the Daily Express's use of your image.
Close to me: Dad... again, presuming they keep up to date wherever we all go... what really happened?
Politics: Tony Blair.... Mathew Kelly, what was that all about?
Pre 20th Century..... Henry the 8th.... LOOK AT MY IPAD.

Do you mean David Kelly?
Or was this a regrettable night when Blair appeared on 'Stars in their Eyes' because the producers mistakenly thought they'd booked Lionel?

Oh lol, I've been calling him that at work.

- kurt vonnegut - wouldn't matter what you asked him, I'd just enjoy hearing him wittering on :)
- a friend of mine - what does he really think of me?
- not sure
- henry fox talbot - I think I'd ask him about inventing photography/calotypes then, like you and your ipad, show off my D300

There you go
Famous person- Julius Caesar, motivation/intent
Close to me- not sure
Politician- Margaret Thatcher- what would you have done differently given the benefit of hindsight?
Pre-20th century- Alexander the Great- pretty much anything at all, maybe especially about what drove him
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 12:49, Reply)

what would you have done differently given the benefit of hindsight? John Major as your successor. Seriously. Why?
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 13:02, Reply)
That as well
there were some much better candidates

I was tempted to put
"How much longer? These clogs won't stay polished forever, you know," but I haven't the time or inclination to start debating politics.

How's tricks?

Alright thanks
yourself?

Yeah, not bad thanks.
Certainly a little more compus mentis today and WeekendWork appears to be almost done. I may even have time to spare to go and let off some steam at my friend's blues jam this afternoon.

Sounds good!
I'm glad you're feeling a little bit more sane as well. Not coming to Bristol bash then?
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 14:42, Reply)
I'd rather like to
It looks like there's a lot of people going who I'd like to catch up with. Unfortunately the whole work-to-do-plus-visiting-friend is making it look difficult. Plus I've just found out that the friend I would have pestered for a place to sleep in Bristol is going to be out of the country that weekend.

Hmmm....
Famous: The late John Entwistle...how do you do it? Really, how do you make a bass guitar sound so awesome? And why can't I do it?
Close: Do you have to stand quite so close to me?
Politics: Kim Jong-Il - are you ronesome tonight?
Pre-20thC: Charles Darwin - not to discourage you, old chap, but how would you feel if, despite the unbelievably monumental importance of the book you've written, there were still fuckwits kicking around the planet in the 21st Century believing that the planet and all its inhabitants were cobbled together in six days by a mythical sky-pixie?
