Question:
Does 'texting' count as a stage in a relationship? This is a debate which has been raging for months between my friends, some people have quite strong opinions on the subject.

Any thoughts?

It is a stage
But that doesn't mean it always gets to relationship stage.
It usually means summat will happen though.

I only tend to count "relationships" when you sit down and decide it so. There's seeing and dating, but I'd only call someone my boyfriend and make it (lol) facebook official when we've had the "us" conversation.

But some of my friends are quite adamant that you can't use say "I'm texting him/her" to describe what's going on. Which I find strange.

I am on contract.
Which is good because my phone is usually permanently stuck in my hand or within very easy reach. I must send between fifty and a hundred texts a day.
