Things You Still Can't Do Properly Despite Being a Proper Grown Up
An Inflatable Bearded Whumpus asks "What can't you do properly despite the fact you're a fully grown and responsible adult?"
Nothing instills confidence more than overhearing a builder on the site opposite muttering "Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey" to himself.
Basically, stealing the idea from this thread on reddit.

I can't remember East from West
Unless I picture a map of Britain in my head.
I also can't remember which way is clockwise, without picturing the face of a clock with the hands going round, speeded up.

I too have a weird East/West dyslexia
I don't quite picture a map of Britain but I always have to stop and think about it for a second before plumping for one of them

I have this too.
North and South are easy. East and West are not. I think as a kid, on the day they taught us that at primary school, I must have been ill or inattentive or something.
When I see a motorway sign that forces me to make an East/West decision, I have to visualise a map of the world, locate Japan/China, and from that I deduce which is which. Which is a right pain.

Imagine how difficult it is if you are Japanese...
Russia is in the west, and the USA is in the east.

I have to say "Never Eat Shredded Wheat" and imagine going clockwise in a circle to work out which is which.

You have a system that works
what's the problem?
(I too have a problem with East-West)
