Pretentious bollocksPossibly the worst event I ever went to was an evening of turntablists in London. The lights went down, the first guy put a cymbal onto a turntable, dropped the needle on it and left it making screeching noises for ten minutes.
When the lights came up, half the audience had snuck out.

stoned watching tvThe most pretentious crap i have personally witnessed was my now ex bf, sitting in front of the TV with his friends and fellow band members, smoking pot and complaining how the world didnt understand them.
For years*...
They are probably still there....
*Dutch social system
(Sad thing is they were quite good, but they rarely had gigs since they were stoned and watching tv most of the time)
