Devastating Put-Downs
Amorous Badger says: I once saw a former manager of mine being asked to 'sit down and let your mouth have a chance to speak' by his senior. What's the best heckle/putdown/riposte you've ever seen? (Hint: Recycled 'Your mum' jokes does not make an answer)

I quite liked a pithy little one-line review of Coldplay's (then) latest dirgefest -
"X+Y=Zzzzzzzzzz"

My favourite band review:
"A cacophonous combination of screeching oscillations, sickening, bowel spilling bass, and bludgeoning drums [...] For forty minutes straight the band set your balls on fire and watch as your writhe in pain while they laugh and perform unnecessary surgery on the rest of your body."
Doesn't really count as a put-down, though, as this was a GOOD review. He gave them 5 stars.

Seeing as everyone is using this as an excuse to cite their favourite album reviews
Here is Pitchfork's infamous review of Jet's last album:

Edit: looks like the video's been taken down, but the title should give the game away.
