Christ...I have only ever asked four people for their autograph...
Darth Vader in Tescos in Pitsea when I was a kid.
Brian Jacks at a Judo lesson when I was a kid.
Carl Hiassen when I stood in line to meet him in a book shop in Miami.
And Mark, when I saw him in a pub on Charlotte Street and couldn't resist going and speaking to my favourite DJ of all time (apart from John Peel).
And he was a lovely, lovely guy.

I also met Lard. well I actually met his wife in a high street bank of Manchester - signed her up for a credit card. Asked what her husband did for income she told me. At which point he arrived shook my hand and we had a good chat.
It later became apparant that i had filled out the CC application form incorrecty and she never got the card.
Still i hated the job and did it for two days.

... Was the last day I listened to it. Even then, I was well outside the target audience. Carry on! Carry on! Pleeeeease.
Edit: and there are some clearly mint walbum tracks there.

shouted that during sex. He nearly shat himself thinking he'd damaged her or something until she said "carry on"

My boss thinks that listening to Steve Wright in the office is perfectly acceptable. I *prey* for the days he buggers off somewhere and Radcliffe stands in. Still not as good as the old Radio 1 shows though.
As an aside, Am I the only person who was disappointed when I found out that the guy murdering prostitutes in Ipswich wasn't the same guy who ruins my afternoons on Radio 2?
