Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

misheard/misunderstood
my niece has been begging for a hamster (pointless little shit*) for years. she has finally been allowed to get one for her birthday. her grandfather was horrified when she announced that it would be called "nipples". in fact, she'd said "nibbles". what have you misheard or misunderstood, with truly hilarious consequences?
* the hamster, not the niece

it'll get spoiled rotten
but also, hamsters suck. we had one when i was at uni, and it sucked. worst of all, it used to angle itself so that when it pissed, the piss soared out of the cage and splashed all over whichever unfortunate student was sitting in THAT chair. hamsters suck.

evil little bastard!
I had one at uni too... mostly it was stoned off it's head from 2nd hand smoke. It got the munchies once and ate some chocolate through the bars of the cage.. the chocolate got all over it and set solid, the vet had to melt it so it could move again.

i thought our goldfish were more interesting
although those poor sods spent half their lives stoned and pissed too. as far as i'm aware, they're still in my friend's pond about 15 years later - can't kill a goldfish. the hamster fortunately carked it when we graduated.

Vodka in the water and hash flakes on the top
I went mad when the boys admitted what they'd done; I thought it was cruel. But the fish thrived.
