Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Best Costumes
I'm thinking of going as a Flux Capacitor to Mr. B3ka's Dr. Emmett Brown this Halloween.
What are the best/worst/laziest Halloween/Fancy Dress/etc. costumes you've seen?

Like!
I like this idea.
It might provide a little number of responses, but I would argue in favour of quality of answers over quantity.
Last Hallowe'en, Mrs Crow looked really quite wonderful as a LOTR-style elf. Me? I turned up as the Paedo-Finder General*. You can probably guess whose costume went down better.
So you should definitely go as a flux capacitor.
*From the later series of Monkey Dust. Look it up on Youtube, you won't be disappointed.

I happen to be able
To walk on stilts fairly well. This isn't normally a useful talent, but it comes into its own on hallowe'en.
Picture, if you will, me. About 5'8", slight beard, ginger-brown hair, glasses. Fairly nondescript looking.
Now take me up to 7'8". Slightly more impressive.
Now dress me in a huge flowing black robe with a black veil to hide my face, and attach two glowing red LED's to my glasses, at a slightly wider width than normal human eyes.
Now imagine you're six years old, and you walk up to my house, all unsuspecting...
I made several start crying and one piss himself in fear - the parents were even better though. I've had grown men and woman scream and run away...
