Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

When I worked at HSBC, they spent millions on rebranding. The consultants came up with this brilliant idea:
"HSBC no longer stands for Hong Kong - Shanghai Banking Corporation, it stands for nothing, it is no longer an acronym it is just HSBC". Hundreds of thousands spent, result? Umm... nothing! Same logo, but wow! HSBC means HSBC now instead of umm... HSBC... Result!

I will no doubt have a full rant about coffee and how the word rich is about as far from a decent description as it gets. Also, green coffee now being sold?! Funking Nora that's the best con/piece of marketing yet!
Argh! Basically, marketing is the ruin of a great and interesting market that I love but is too important to ignore. I know. Mumble mumble mumble...

the government rebranded the Job Centre. After spending who knows what, the marketing company came back with
JobCentre.
Yup, they took the space out making it one word.
