Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Nice road stories
This afternoon, while driving, I budged up to the left to let a guy on a motorbike overtake me.
As he passed, he waved me a cheery 'thank you', and I was reminded that not everybody on the road is a total cunt.
Tell us your heartwarming stories of Britain's fine highways and byways.

I've started letting bus drivers pull out more often
because it pleases me for them to stick their arm rigidly out of the window and give me a thumbs up.

I make eye contact with ambulance drivers on emergency calls
They usually have a look of intense concentration on their faces, presumably through trying to avoid all the numpties who freeze on the spot when confronted by a reflective yellow van with a siren and some flashing lights. I don't get mesmerised by the blues'n'twos, instead I stop/make room/speed up out of their way and I always get a wave of thanks.

I ride a motorbike
and if I can then I always thank people when they let me past (sometimes I can't cos my left hand is my clutch hand and I need it so that I don't crash)

stopped riding bikes last year when some twunt farmer in a pick-up decided that darting out of a junction while I was going to work would be a great idea.
