School Assemblies
Our school assemblies were often presided over by the local vicar, who once warned us of the dreadful dangers of mixing with "Rods and Mockers". One of the cool teachers laughed. Tell us about mad headteachers and assemblies gone wrong.

I remember the 'AIDS - don't die of ignorance' campaign when I was about that age and I never got AIDS. Maybe there is something in this early intervention thing...

This visitor came into our school and said "Now, kids, this is what an STD looks like, so be careful".
We were all made to touch it, as well. It wasn't pleasant.
