This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Sexist language?
Here's one for both the ladies and the gentlemen.

Why is it more acceptable for a man to use the word cunt than it is for a woman? (Well, slightly more socially acceptable anyway, if you use it in public)

I worked with a lass who hated the word 'fanny' but would happily refer to someone as a cunt without blinking. She was the exception though.

One of my housemates is sort of like that
She tends to use cunt a lot. And fanny too. But cunt more. She's a bit odd though, in a cool way.

Some people just can't stand the word no matter who says it
I'm fortunate in that I'm allowed to use it in front of my family, as long as I use it only when necessary, to emphasise the gravity of a situation/cuntiness of a person.

You cunt.

(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:47, closed)
No, YOU cunt!!!
Woo!
(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:48, closed)
Fuck you,
you CUNTESS!
(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:48, closed)
Shut up, Cuntalina

(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:49, closed)
Cunt off!

(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:52, closed)
El cunto...

(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:54, closed)
Cuntalicious!
Do you think we've proved the point yet? :D
(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:55, closed)
we cunting well have

(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:56, closed)
Aye, I'm a cunt
Everyone else is a cunt too.

My cunting point was that I've seen cunting women get bollocked loudly for using the word cunt whereas I've just gotten a sigh from my female friends over my useage of cunt.

Go get cunted in the fuck
in case you haven't realised, I'm taking the piss
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:04, closed)
No cunting worries
I figured you were

I say cunt all the time
And it would be as rude if I were a bloke.
(, Sun 27 Dec 2009, 23:52, closed)
I say it a lot
but I know when not to say it.

Up until recently I taught 5-15 year olds
So I learnt very quickly to control my swearing :) I still haven't got used to it. Swear a lot around friends and a little around family. Not at all in front of the kids!
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:44, closed)
Which is a bit of a shame really
Because if anyone ever justified the word "cunt", it's a fifteen year old.
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 3:07, closed)
I think that you'd get slightly more evil glares
Than I would if we were to both chorus cunt in public.
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:01, closed)
Why?
I'm little. People would forgive me.
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:42, closed)
Cos you're a woman
And therefore not allowed to use cunt in public. Hurr hurr.
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:58, closed)

I have no problem with using or hearing used the word cunt as an expletive, but I dont like it when people refer to my cunt as a cunt. Does this make sense?
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:27, closed)
Yes, it does.
Call me a cunt if you will, but don't ask me how wet it is!
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 0:39, closed)
As far as the word cunt is concerned..
I've found men and women of my acquaintance to use it pretty much the same amount, though amusingly, yanks hate the word.

Nearly got barred from a bar in LA for uttering "you fucking cunt!" when losing to my mate at pool.

I use it as an expletive more than to refer to lady-bits mind.
(, Mon 28 Dec 2009, 2:22, closed)
Am I the only one who gets a little turned on when women say "Cunt"?
Of course, it helps if the lady in question doesn't look like a cross between Pat Butcher and Joseph Merrick!
