Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

It must be hardbut at least you were planning to finish it as well so you know you were both in the same place. In the long run it'll be better for you to move on asap, even though it still might hurt.

p.s A girl i work with was divorced for a year and didnt tell her family. The bloke was still living with her. It was really weird.. But you may not need to tell Nan yet tho :)
