This is a question Sorry

With Tesco taking out full page adverts to say sorry for selling us ponyburgers, now is the time for us all to say Sorry.
Write a letter of apology to someone who deserves it.

props to Monty_Boyce

We had a bit of a 90's fest
music wise before dinner tonight - Jesus Jones, NIN, PWEI, Severed Heads, Primal Scream, Carter USM etc.

I was rolling over in bed just then & I said to the missus - "What time is Love?"
"3am Eternal" says she.
"That's when I have to catch the Last Train to Trancentral" I said.

*Not really sorry*

last year I saw each of the following bands play live at least once:
PWEI, Jesus Jones, The Wonder Stuff, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Carter USM, the Levellers and Therapy?

I don't think the mid-90s ever really ended.

Nice one!
Shame that all of those bands are without exception utterly without merit, but never mind.

Does go some way to explaining your embarrassing haircut, I suppose.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 13:11, closed)

This one?
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 13:17, closed)
That'll be the one, yes sir.

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 13:19, closed)
So you've really got nothing better to do than log out and log back in again to try and make fun of a haircut I had five years ago. You sad, sad fuck.

Christ, is there a more emphatic word than "pathetic"?
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 15:40, closed)
So hang on.
One of you is 2.0-ing here.

That means that you've BOTH had to log in and out in order for one of you to take the piss out the other of you looking like an accountant at glastonbury and then for the second person to get upset about it.

Is that how Ignore works, now?
I still miss the pink block that would replace ignored content. That was a much better system.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 20:30, closed)
You love pink
you massive pinky bumder.
(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 11:26, closed)
If the pink ignore block would
throb and glisten, I would be in heaven!

oh fuck

The levellers are awful.
I got told off for 'being too harsh' when I said banksy was 'the levellers of the paint world.'

Neds, PWEI and Carter are ok though.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 13:59, closed)
They're really not.

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 14:27, closed)
I quite like their Beautiful Days festival
and their new album isn't bad
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 15:24, closed)
You're right. Bad doesn't come near to covering how terminally shit it is.

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 15:41, closed)

A mate of mine vaguely knew the levellers through his girlfriend's sister, and went to a bunch of their parties.

They're right pricks, apparently.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 17:20, closed)
I can vouch for this personally

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 17:47, closed)

You might have met my friend also.

He probably thought you were a prick, mind.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 18:39, closed)
Therapy? Are still going
I haven't seen them in nearly 20 years.

This year I have seen Primal Scream (twice), The Stone Roses and Rammstein for my 90's fix.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 16:23, closed)
Yeah, they've released, like seven albums since I last bought one
but they're still pretty much the same as they ever were:

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 17:21, closed)
Saw them at Bristol Thekla
last November

They are mint.

Any band who calls an album "Suicide Pact - You First" deserves respect
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 21:24, closed)
I'm sorry that you appear to have missed all the good music that came out in the 90s.

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 14:03, closed)
What's this got to do with anything?

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 14:07, closed)
I think the poor man is having some kind of breakdown.
(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 14:11, closed)
At least it's not cancer.

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 15:06, closed)
terribly sad

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 22:16, closed)

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 22:54, closed)
I think you might be faking this "going mental on the internet" thing, you know.

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 15:44, closed)

(, Fri 18 Jan 2013, 21:49, closed)
Surely he'd make it less dull if he were faking it.
