This is a question Spoilers

The Hedgehog From Hell says: "I shared a house in England with a couple of Germans in 1999. I was watching Star Trek: Deep Space 9 on BBC2. One came into the room and saw Jadzia Dax on the screen and said 'Oh! Is she still alive? You're really far behind in this country.' What's been ruined for you, and how? Apart from QOTW, obviously"

It sinks and he dies.
He's a ghost.
He's a replicant.
Her sister isn't dead.
His brother is dead.
He beats the black guy up suddenly.
He's flipped and done it all himself.
It's a dream.
It's a programme.
He's his father.

Nicole Kidman is a ghost.

We really should confine all of these to one reply thread.

Isn't it ambiguous as to whether Deckard is a replicant?
Or did I miss something?
(, Thu 6 Jun 2013, 16:23, closed)
Yes.

It's unambiguous that Blade Runner is a terrible film.
Haven't seen it for a few years, but I thought it glossed over issue, in contrast with the book?

Scott confirmed, 25 years after the movie's release, that Deckard was a replicant all along

Only in his shitty, narrativeless, Director's Cunt.
In the REAL film, he's human.

If I remember correctly, the 'deckard is a replicant' thing is an internet fan wank that got shoehorned in after the fact.
(, Thu 6 Jun 2013, 21:18, closed)

It's been so long since I've read it that I can't remember, I liked the book better but I still think the film was great, especially as a technical achievement for when it was made.

I think the film is excellent too, and I usually think pretty much everything ever is utter toss.
I put it to YOU, Monster Munch poster from the Internet, that there is a very real possibility that the problem, if indeed there is one, lies not in fact with the film 'Blade Runner' starring Harrison Ford, but with you yourself.

Please consider this message as indication that I, Monty Boyce, also of the Internet, am both ANGRY and UPSET at the internet at this juncture.

Thank you for your time.

2 No. No he fucking ISN'T and I DON'T FUCKING CARE what Ridley Cunting Scott says.
If Deckard is a replicant, then the whole plot of the film ie: Killing even artificial humans has a dehumanising effect on the killer, is rendered totally fucking meaningless.

That.

Calm down, dear.
It's only a story.
