usually "To the house owner" or "The resident".
If delivered alongside my regular mail I put "Not at this address" on it and shove it in the nearest post box.
Stuff you Royal Mail, putting those through my door.

has a duty to deliver that mail, like it or not.
Better to get back at the company that's spammed you by using the pre-paid envelope they've inevitably enclosed, and filling it their own spam, or granny pr0n, or something that will make it overweight. That way Royal Mail get to charge them for the privilege of receiving shit.

I do however like your overweight option. Next time...

If you find yourself being constantly spammed by two different companies, put Company A's spam in Company B's envelope and vice versa.
Maybe not the spam with your address on, though.

Rather than being addressed to the occupier, the RSPCA (A charity which I do support by the way) begging letter was addressed "To someone who cares about animals."
I wrote "Not known at address" across the window in the envelope and popped it into the postbox.
Hopefully someone had a chuckle at that one.
