bog seat
I always assumed that because bog seats had hinges, this made them 'engineering', which is obviously beyond womankind.
Sometimes I go for a crap and the seat is up, so I lower it. And if I go for a piss and it's down, well, that depends on how many cans I've managed to put away, but you get the point.

I always say, if a woman gets irate and demands to know why men can't lower the seat after peeing,
get irate and demand to know the reason why women can't lower it BEFORE peeing!

I've lived in a house all my life with...
My mum and mostly brothers. Only recently through the likes of Friends and other shit TV shows that women abhor leaving the Toilet seat up. Thats probably why my mum is insane.

Why not do what we do?
Put the lid down before you flush and leave it down. You get a nice tidy bathroom and the responsibility of lifting/putting down is shared by both sexes.
