Call Center Phone MonkeysThat phone system you log in to is set to give the person who has been waiting for a call the longest the next call that comes in the queue.
Intermittently make yourself unavailable then available real quick. It'll knock your waiting time back to zero, therefore resulting in less calls, and is less obvious than sitting in "busy" or "call work".

Sorry mateyUsed to work as a manager in a call centre, and although it works, we can see when you do it and pull you into the office for a bollocking and a disciplinary for 'call avoidance.'
Although I'm glad to say I have payed back the bad karma and moved to a job in marketing now.
