It's not quite as bad as getting a dodgy tattoo of a topless woman permanently jabbed into your arm, but it can be even harder to effectively remove when you finally grow up a bit.

That won't always help.
If google indexed it and cached it, or the wayback machine has it.
Best thing to do is never post your real name next to your "internet name" and certainly never make a comment on facebospace next to your real name unless you know it will noT be held against you by the HR department of a firm you may apply to, or someone you may wih to marry or their family, or anyone you know...
