Tell me about itI had a Vectra that was due a new timing belt at 35K-40K miles.
It had done 34K when the timing belt went while I was overtaking a lorry on the motorway.
Only my underwear - and my wallet can tell the full story.

Jesus shitting Christ!Did Vauxhall make that batch out of chewing gum and gaffer tape? I expect even the cheap shitty motor factors belts to go for 60k before starting to worry!

my mk1 LagunaNeeded the belt changing every 80k miles I had it from 135k miles and it died at 170k miles.
