In a similar vein
my sister's explorer scout group (the 14-18 year olds) used to buy a load of cheap wooden pegs, write their group name on them and stealth-peg members of other groups at international camps.

I've done this sort of thing
in nightclubs. I once took a few sticky labels out with me, wrote things like "twatted" and "massive mess" on them, then found some hapless raver in a right old state and slap them on the back, thus affixing the label.

It was great to see them three hours later, the only one in the club still blissfully unaware of their legend.
