This is a question Twattery

Nigella Pussycat says: Tell us about utter twats doing remarkably twatty things. Or have you ever done something really twattish to a friend, loved one or pet? In summary: Twats

Oh the joy of watching the police busting cyclists jumping red lights
right outside my window at work!

One twat cyclist even suggested that the police should be out catching REAL criminals!

Hahahahahahahahaha!

I'd love to see that
I fucking hate city cyclists. Especially the ones that think they can cycle on all pavements just because a couple of cycle lanes elsewhere in town jump up onto the pavement for a while.

Precisely this.
I like the ones who claim that car drivers drive badly, like that's any justification whatsoever.

Obviously
these police were not properly trained. Everyone knows that it is IMPOSSIBLE for a cyclist to break the law. Whatever they do is perfectly OK, by virtue of being on a bike. This is how UK law works. Fact. Ask any cyclist if you don't believe me.

This
is of course, true.

I once launched a can of coke at a cyclist...
...who narrowly missed my 3 month old daughter in her pram when he went through a red light. I had visions of the can flying through the air and taking him off his bike in a Crocodile Dundee fashion. I missed him by a country mile and spent the next hour coke-less. The pain.

POIDH
Or video next time Plod is on such a mission. To see sanctimonious lycra-abusers getting pwned would make my week.

"Red lights right outside my window at work"
So what line of work are you in then, exactly?
(, Fri 13 Apr 2012, 16:13, closed)
clicking this so hard now
It would be nice to think that the police confiscated their bikes as well to keep these arseholes off the road.
(, Fri 13 Apr 2012, 16:26, closed)
Well I for one shall be teaching these blighters a lesson by smashing up as many unattended bikes as I can with a crowbar.
It'll be OK because I have human rights and freedom of speech.
(, Fri 13 Apr 2012, 20:08, closed)
Oh good
can I watch?

Vandalism's a crime you know. Perhaps a nice sit down and a cup of tea will calm you down?
(, Sat 14 Apr 2012, 13:10, closed)
I know it's a crime, but I have human rights and freedom of speech.

(, Sat 14 Apr 2012, 22:31, closed)
Go on then
put your money where your mouth is and see where your human rights and freedom of speech get you.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2012, 11:34, closed)
Just hope
they were stopping red-light-running motorists too. Only fair.

Just saw a cyclist jump 2 red lights
As he sailed between pedestrians crossing I shouted "Green were they, you twat?". He claimed they were.

I should probably write to the city council to complain about the malfunctioning lights that are showing green to vehicles and pedestrians at the same time. We were just lucky that the taxis and buses had obviously been briefed on this and held back at the line.
(, Sat 14 Apr 2012, 20:23, closed)
I would have enjoyed the sight too
I never pedal through red lights, they're there for a good reason, it doesn't hurt to wait a minute or so to be on my way.

Sadly this is true - and I'm a cyclist too.
The other week I found myself stopped at a set of lights on the Old Kent Road. A well to do woman with a basket on the front of her bike rode off the pavement, waggled her way unsteadily between myself and the car next to me and sailed through the red light.

Two hundred yards later, I overtook her only to stop at another red. She did the same thing again.

Third time I went past, made eye contact and said "red lights exist for a reason you know". She looked back at me with an expression of utter bafflement, but the hint was taken and she remained behind me at the third set of lights.

I'm re-educating from the inside, one cyclist at a time.

This
is the right thing to do, and is what I would have done.

I like this.
