This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

Alex the Kidd
I got to the level where the hidden castle appears, but never got past it.

I tried so many times, i had memorised all the rock/paper/scissors outcomes.

That game
was ridiculously hard. So unforgiving as well. I think my brother completed it buy my hands were too retarded. Even after all these years (probably last played it in 1993 or something) I can still remember that theme tune and level music.

Your brother is a liar.
As someone who has completed Alex Kidd in Miracle world, I feel confident in calling anyone else who claims this feat a Liar. If they feel like arguing the point, I simple ask them about the end game scenario. Anyone who has completed it, no matter how many years later will remember it vividly for decades to come. Trust me, he never completed it, unless he spent years of his life with a notepad and completing the game hundreds of times over recording the end in meticulous detail.
Of course, in this day and age there's always save states, but those are for pussies and it's still bloody hard.

I finished it a million times
I played that game so many times that I knew the rock-paper-scissors sequence off by heart. I did start off with writing it down though.

That and Sonic were the only games I think I've ever finished.

Nah you didn't
Or gloating about memorising the Janken matches wouldn't be what you bragged about... Be honest with yourself, and you'll live a happier life...

I completed it
Great game. I loved the cycle-propelled heli-thing.

Paper, paper. That was it.

Pfft Goldenaxe
A rip off of the Commodore 64 "Barbarian" and "Barbarian 2" games. Which being more old-school are obviously much better.
