Cold pillows
I can't sleep on room temperature/hot pillows. Fact. When I was younger, I often hung them out of the window, especially in winter(!) so that they were literally ice cold.
Also, I simply HAVE to rotate my pillows three times before I lay my head on them, despite this bringing the side of the pillow that was facing me initially, back to the top. I can't settle unless I do this.
I am weird.

Wow!
I am impressed, and I have learned something. Maybe I'm not alone after all!

Looks like it. Not sure if it's legal, but Douglas Adams is dead, so he can't sue

I was more impressed by how long it would have taken.
I don't think Mr Adams would mind and Norwegian copyright law probably allows for it anyhow.

Oh yes
cold pillows are lully. I can sleep with a warm pillow but the feeling of nestling into a cold one is pure pleasure. And now I see it has a name :-)

Shirley, if you rotate them three times
Then you either mean 3 x 180 degrees, which leaves them the other way from how they started, or 3 x 360 degrees, in which case it seems a pointless comment that they are the same way up.
Or, not being certifiably insane, am I missing something?
[postscript] I agree about cold pillows, though

Ah good question!
Though I like the vertical turning idea, it do actually rotate them 360'. Yes this leaves them in exactly the same position they were in when I started this debacle, but I can't stop myself. I also smooth them down, and THEN 'fluff' the pillows, effectively destroying the smoothing that I have just done. Utterly pointless.
