David Cameron holds in his piss in order to concentrate. What weird borderline OCD shit do you do and why?

New dub is objectively better. The acting isn't just the standard fare cheapo 80s/90s manga dub, the character voices are all at the right ages, and the translation seems better (for all I know, I don't speak Japanese). I do have a soft spot for the old dub though, 'cos that one I grew up with. I remember hating the new dub when it came out.

Anything else is just a nonsense.

There's something about the Japanese language that just doesn't survive dubbing. Hayao Miyazaki maintains that he'd rather people watched his movies dubbed than subbed, but I've seen a few now and they're always miles better with the original voicetrack, even when they've paid proper hollywood actors to do it.

is that they manage to actually pronounce Kaneda's name right. A close second is that it doesn't weirdly try to simplify the plot in such a way that makes it completely nonsensical.
Not a big fan of the 1988 dub, to be honest.
