Whenever I speak to a shop assistent, waiting staff, trainguard, copper ECT
I always end with 'have a nice day'
I like to think it makes there day that little bit more pleasant :)

As someone who's worked in shops many a time while trying to pay for uni, this does make a difference - and sometimes it can offset some of the attitude you get from other customers who assume you've failed at life because you're working there :)

People go out, do what they have to do and go home. Not taking any notice of anyone around them. You know what, I even strike conversation with people at the bus stop and at bars. How wild am I!
