Ok,
1) That picture is fecking HUGE! Re-size it for god's sake.

2) What am I looking at? There's a car, there are two people walking, but there is nothing to connect the two people to the car. They could have come from anywhere.

3) Assuming the people have come from the car, there could still be a child hidden from view - either run on ahead or hidden by the people.

So until I get evidence to the contrary I'm going to assume that you're victimising innocent people.

People parking in parking spaces meant for parents with children.

Not a brilliant post, but it is true that it is annoying. I have a son, and hate having to get him out of the car in a crowded car park. The Special car park spaces do make the world of difference.

They should be clamped if they dont have children.

Thats why I posted it. Actually its a very old picture I made a long time ago. Sorry I uploaded the wrong version up. Ive replaced it with a smaller one.

Can someone please tell me how I proove there is no child in this picture? How about some pram tracks leading away - to show the child is gone? But that would defeat the purpose of the picture. Which was to demonstrate that two people got of a car, parked in a space reserved for parents and they didnt have a child.. maybe they left a baby in the car you say? Well thats even worse!

Just take my word for it. I watched those get out of the car and walk away.. with no children. They aint innocent!

I *got* the fact that it was OTT.

However - all we have is your say-so. A series of pictures showing them parking, getting out and walking into the store sans child would be "proof". What you have is a picture of a car and some people.

I agree though. Not just about Parent and Child spaces but also disabled ones too. I would love to stake out the disabled spaces at my local Somerfield (yes, I'm a gyppo!) and catch one of the non-disabled cunts parking their big, new cars in a disabled space.

I've been a victim of such lurid speculation from a parent for using those spaces at tesco (different store obviously). I got beepage and some tasteful abuse for using the space for my 'any-minute-now' pregnant wife, to save her a half mile hike.

I mean, how very dare I use a space that is technically reserved for the abusive range-rover-mum with her 9 or 10 year old son!

Disabled spaces OK
On the whole people can't help being disabled, apart from Brian Harvey who ran himself over on purpose, and I completely agree that they should get preferential parking. Although not as much as they do at the moment as the spaces are nearly always empty.

However it is your fault you have children. You made the decision to bring screaming, shitting little devils* into the world; deal with it and don't expect preferential treatment.

The spaces are there because both disabled drivers/passengers and parents who have to unstrap sprogs from car seats usually have to open the doors wider. Hence there is more chance of clonking the next car to them with said door, leading to occasional screaming and shouting (and violence) with the owner of the newly dinged motor.

Despite the signs all over the place disclaiming responsibility, the store will get grief out of it, ergo it makes sense to put some bigger spaces in. And it makes them look all caring and stuff like that.
