I used to know a lad who was a Belle and Sebastian fan.
He was a sullen, fluffy-haired "arty" manchild who was allergic to anything vaguely interesting. Also, he had Eric Morecambe glasses that made him look like a prick. When I finally got round to listening to B & S they were exactly the way I'd imagined.

He was a big fan of MGMT too. I used to wind him up by persistently calling them MDMF (a hybrid of ecstasy and medium-density fibreboard), or saying stuff like "MGMT. They're the ones who say 'chiddy bang' aren't they?"
