especially re UB40, spent a month in jamaica about 10 yrs ago, stayed with family so we were 'in the sticks' and their songs were playing everyfuckingwhere...in the shops..on the radio..in taxis..comin out of peoples houses - for some reason at the time they loved them out there (dunno bout now, the chance they're still as popular is one reason i dont wanna go back) - oddly the first bob marley i heard was two weeks in to the holiday and at a very touristy beach...still puzzles me now
