It's easy to be cynicalbut let's not forget that Tubular Bells was a phenomenon that helped change the face of music in the 70s. It also pretty much launched the empire of a certain Mr Branson. Sneering at a product nearly 40 years old isn't cool or clever. Give me one example from current times that is as important or influential and that is liked by many more than dislike it?

As pointed out many a time in this passionate qotw subject, promotion to mass audience is they key. I just don't dig the sounds and melody man... I am chortleing away to "Moonlight Shadow (shadow)" though :D
