
you have quickreply enabled, and as soon as you click 'Reply' it scrolls to the top of the page without you doing anything else? EDIT: or do you mean when you click 'post this message'?

I could get round this by *gasp* turning QR off, but it seems like a useful feature. Or would, if my browser was behaving itself.

It's not like you're ever reading and writing at the same time.
Certainly nifty and aesthetically great for people who prefer it, but not useful.

turn on 'navkeys' and 'highlight posts' then Alt+/ will jump to the post you just made. (Just made as in "it's highlighted in red.")
untested in safari.
