I am going to read my string theory book later

I'm reading a book about weight in an environment where gravity doesn't apply
I can't put it down.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:41, archived)
Weight without gravity is just mass
isn't it?
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:41, archived)
*slow claps*
weight = m*g
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:42, archived)
Yes
Been a long time since A Level Physics
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:42, archived)
I'm doing a degree in it
I say doing a degree, I mean enroled at the uni for physics, spend my time drinking and playing volleyball
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:43, archived)

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:49, archived)
100 year-old chemistry without any of the difficult (read: interesting) bits

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:51, archived)
biology is a stand alone science

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:51, archived)
There's so much physicsy stuff in mine that it doesn't make much difference

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:46, archived)
Meh, got more respect for you than I have for me.
I've got a BSc in Multimedia :S
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:45, archived)
Ah
Been five minutes since A Level Mechanics and I still thought I'd got that wrong.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:45, archived)

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:33, archived)
im heading up there on wednesday with about a dozen people
not sure when we are camping yet. but where and when could we meet? I've never been before (not through want of trying i just couldnt get tickets for the last 6)i /think/ we are camping either near lost vaugness or the stone circle

if you can think of somewhere then one of us could stick something on the calendar.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:36, archived)
I've never been before either
& I have precisely shit all idea where we are camping.
Stick something on the calendar anyway, with a meeting place TBA.
Those of us who sign up can all swap numbers nearer the time & sort something out on arrival?
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:38, archived)

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:38, archived)

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:37, archived)
No
I'm going to Portugal instead.

AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

EDIT: and I may break my bash virginity to go to the Dublin one. I live 20 miles from Holyhead, so shouldn't be difficult to get there.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:33, archived)
I would find it hard getting to Holyhead as its across the irish sea for me.

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:35, archived)

(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:37, archived)
:D if they are big enough and want to go to they can camp away form me
don't want them cramping my style ;)
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:37, archived)
Haha oops.

/brilliant mum dumping daughter with a friend for 6 days for the purposes of a festival
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:36, archived)
To be fair it's as much my other responsibilities
I'm a carer for my elderly grandparents, they are 87 and 89, there's a good chance that when the children are bigger I will also have less on my plate there too. I am also having IVF next month ...

I don't see anything wrong with you getting a break. :)
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:40, archived)
glastonbury has a kids only camping area thats gated
and has loads of stuff for them to do. having children isnt a reason to go. one of our group is brining a 6 month old. and another is bringing her toddler
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:37, archived)

I'm not sure if I want them.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:35, archived)

I didn't want one, though. Supersonic is the festival for me.
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:36, archived)
I've got tickets
but I can't be arsed going, it looks shit

I'll probably just give my tickets away to a homeless or rip them up or something
(, Sun 15 Apr 2007, 18:36, archived)
