Do people normally steal tools?

(, Mon 11 May 2009, 20:44, archived)
Is this a serious question?

(, Mon 11 May 2009, 20:45, archived)
Well, it seems like a weird thing to not hand in

my tools are a bit top of the line, not b and q jobs

Maybe my lack of DIY skills and the fact that I don't own many tools just make it seem weird to me
But if I saw some on a train pinching them would not be the first thing to go through my mind.

They're carriable and worth hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds.
Wander down a car boot and see the lovely Makita and Milwaukee stuff with the serial numbers filed off. They bought them for a DIY project and are finished with them now. Honest.

Fair enough
It just never crossed my mind.

you do seem to be a bit of an idiot sometimes, dear.

Yes, and I'll admit that
But certain people go on and on. It gets boring.

The only thing that's boring is you being so grumpy and bitter about it.

(, Mon 11 May 2009, 20:46, archived)
So often that you regularly see stickers on the back of vans deterring potential thieves by claiming they are none in the vehicle

(, Mon 11 May 2009, 20:46, archived)
no, even theives and drug addicts have respect for the symbols of a man carving out his life through honest graft
