I had a rather embarassing mix-up today
First call of the day:
"Can I take your name please sir?"
*customer gives surname*"Okay and can I have your first name."
"Fimon."
*I check the database*"Could you repeat that name again for me?"
"Yep. Fimon.
*Check again, no name found.*"I'm sorry about this, could you spell that for me please?"
"F-I-M-O-N."
"Okay, let me just check again, F-I-"
"No! F! F for
FUGAR!"

I did think Fimon was a pretty unusual name, but then I get four or five unpronouncables a day
so I really don't bat an eyelid at it any more, but I was pretty mortified about that
