Found out 30 minutes ago
That it was for ticket fraud and for 18 months. Poor girl. And poor him, seemed like a nice guy really, just got caught up in bad stuff.

it's the he part, she's the friend
and having to hastily fine a new home. Such a nice girl, was planning her wedding and all sorts until recently.

it was about 15 months of refund shenigans at the Barbican. Found a Guardian article about it.

But yeah, 9 months seems likely I suppose. Just been discussing what you do in that situation... you thought you knew the person you were engaged to etc...

Yeah it might be
but, they've been together 2 years, and 3/4 of that this was going on etc. What are his prospects of a career with that on your record etc..? Apparently in his favour though he does do an excellent Willy Fogg impression.

Anyway, clearly none of my business. Hence why i've not mentioned anything at all about it here.
