See, every time I see anyone railing against Radio 1 or BBC3, what I really see is;
"WAAAAAAH THE COMMONERS HAVE THINGS THEY LIKE, LOWER CLASSES SHOULD BE WORKING IN THE PIT NOT ENJOYING TELLY, WAAAAAAAH WE SHOULD HAVE MORE DOCUMENTARIES ON ART BY BRIAN SEWELL"

How will they ever understand quality if they don't have it forced down their throats every minute of every day?
I'd like to see the schedules of Radio 1 and Radio 3 swapped for a day to watch the proles squirm in pain as their brains try to understand.

Popular TV which is commercially viable will get made by the private sector. Radio 1 offers nothing different from what Capital and the like offer and BBC 3 is the same as ITV 1,2 and 3 (but not 4)
