do you approve of hillmans then?
(

No, but I always wanted a husky as a pet
and since my apartment is too small for a husky (which is type of Hillman estate) I went for the smaller saloon version and got a cat called Minx.
When I picked up a kitten last summer the plan was to call it Imp since it's the smaller Hillman, but it turned out to be a female so it got called Pixie instead, which is very much like an Imp. The girlfriend wanted to call this one Husky though, claiming "it's the estate version of our other cat".

"council" is a term used in car circles to describe all the bolt-on bullshit you get from Halfrauds

That's some rather meaningful pet naming there.

It's possibly both the sexiest and most impractical object ever to leave an English factory
and was essentially an English shell made of leftover Ford bits with a 7.2 litre Chevy V8 stuffed under the bonnet. The Interceptor FF was also the first 4WD passenger car in the world, predating the quattro by nearly 15 years.
It's in my Top 5 Cars To Keep Forever

The trouble is, I have a wider pool of Cars I'd Like To Own For A Bit
and some cars get upgraded. I'd love a Facel Vega and a Bristol, and both were in the Top 5, as was the Reliant Scimitar GTE and the Jaguar XJS, but I couldn't keep all five. So I'd have one of these as my Luxury Sedan, but also a Steyr Haflinger or a LuAZ for the weekends.

I don't deny it, almost every car from before the 60s was pretty in a way
but I prefer the cruising bruising bulk of the Tatra T603 or the sharkfin Tatra T87 to the curvaceous waves the Italians were producing.
De Tomaso Pantera though...
