Basically we're celebrating 60 years of not being the sort of over-emotional imbecilic retards that think having an elected figurehead would be any better
A Smile for the Jubilee is a Smile for Common Sense.

I reckon she's got more sense than anyone in the House of Commons by a long shot,
they should just let her run the show and we'd be alright.

When Charlie takes over, though, it'll be a different kettle of fish altogether.

That is the problem with longer life expectancies (and the lack of wars)
we'll have a series of monarchs who are only coronated when they are 70.

it's not his age so much as the fact that he's a knob head

That is true
Maybe he'll stop spouting his opinions once crowned

Benevolent Dictatorship all the way
not sure Ma'am is up for it though.

yeah that's kind of the real problem isn't it,
the "being up for it" criteria tends to select a certain sort of person.

What are you saying?
I'd be up for it.

It'd be a lovely world where he just passes it straight to William
William and the Queen herself are the only slightly sane ones. Phillip is an ancient racist, Edward is a bit drippy but keeps himself to himself, Charles is dopey but recognisable and Andrew is a grinning, smug cunt of a twat.
Harry's a bit of a prat. I'd pay my £1 a year in taxes for a King William.

I suppose there's Anne as well or Margaret whichever the sister is but she's got hair like the back end of a poodle

The way I understand it the vast wealth of the Crown Estate goes entirely to the government and more than pays for the royal family.
They do more paying for us than we do for them.

'but vey cost da tAxp@yer!!11'
like you said, surely they pay for themselves and significantly over and over again in tourism, crown estates and everything else?
and swan pies, they're doing very well
