We're under lockdown again- highest rates of infection in north America. We've been open and closed and the provincial government is trying to walk the line between science and commerce and has ended up playing whack-a-mole as a result.
So you don't know from one week to the next whether a pub or restaurant will be open for dine-in or for dining in the garden or only for takeaway.

It has been on and off here all along- pubs and restaurants were open while the UK was locked down.
My stepdaughter went to Scotland at the start of 2020 to study for her Masters degree and has barely been out of her house ever since.

Get her certificate and make some money there before she comes back to Canada.
Get out and about and do the things she was originally intending to do when she first went over.

Calgary and Edmonton are modern cities. I live in a town that's redneck central- and have done for the last seven years.
