I was just being a knob mate, there are plenty of decent bands from Leeds

OK then, I like the Sisters of Mercy and Terrorvision (2nd album, anyway).
Dunno if the latter count as Leeds, but it's close enough.

Terrorvision were from Bradford.
And were also 'fucking shit'.

As an aside, I once played pool with their singer (he's a friend of a friend) and he is fucking tiny.

Sisters of Mercy were/are great, agreed.

Terrorvision were the first band I ever saw live, trufax.
Actually that would be their support band, Die Toten Hosen. I don't remember much about them, other than that they were quite German.

I saw them at Reading 96. No interest in their records then or now, but they were a decent live act.

I was only 13 :(
my mate's mum drove us there and waited in the car until the end.

Rock, for sure - but also *extremely* roll.

Ha, Terrorvision were also one of the first bands I ever saw. I was well into them aged ca. 15.
