They were not shit,
but they were deeply boring to me, as a pretentious teenager at the time when Mercury died and the entire nation overnight decided they were a super important band and integral to our national identity.

They do have a number of cracking tunes and earworms, and Mercury was a great frontman comparable to the likes of Al Atkins and Brian Johnson.
