over the past couple of days he's had to negotiate between the police (his friend who was very high up has been done for corruption so that's his local senior contact gone), some tenants his mum has in a commercial property, gang members, a crackhead mum with a sick 2 year old girl, street dealers and the little kids doing the actual drug-running.
This is an actual message he sent me:
"Btw I have a job offer here. PCC told my sister they like the way I am talking to the scum over here these days. If I ever come back they want me to be their βdisciplineβ. Lol"

Have you ever had an offer you've found hard to refuse?

unfortunately, when you get to know some of the people caught up in the most "exciting" lives it's absolutely tragic. Yesterday my in-laws were dealing with a crackhead woman who has a very sick 2 year old girl, but won't give up the kid to social services because she's relying on the child benefit to feed her habit. My sister in law has a barbers salon and you get all sorts in there. Many of the local police get their haircuts there. So it's ... interesting.

I will be very pleased to have him safely home.

I refused and spread a vicious rumor that he had abused me, which led to his imprisonment, where he later died.

There was an empty flat above the shop that I could have had, and it was a full time job. Had to say no because I was waiting for rather a lot of surgery.
