Halllooooo
we have a really amazing occupational health team at our work. It's like going to a private clinic, very swish, new everything, plenty of staff and appointments. They really want us not not be ill!

In sad news though the brother in law died last night. He's been deteriorating for the past couple of days but yesterday he was unconscious and his breathing became irregular, stopped and started and then just stopped completely. Very peacful from what I hear. My sister and the kids are absolutely numb and my folks are in pices.

it was only ever going to end one way I suppose, still v sad
at least it didn't drag on for years.

Yeah, he was incredibly good for most of the last 19 months
the family had some really memorable, fun times. He did an impressive job in making provisions for his death. He was a good man and he didn't suffer at the end.

Not the worst way to go, all things considered.

Sorry to hear that
My mum died when I was 11 and it's been a dark shadow over my life ever since. I sincerely hope your sister has a loving support network around her and the kids can cope as best as they can.

I am sorry to hear that. She does. They do have a great network around them.
I've been bowled over by how her friends have knitted together to be supportive.
