Boston is downstairs in a cage so she's tentatively coming and having a look to see if the fucker is still there in his big cage and that's when she gives us a hard time for that THING still being here. We let him out at night when she's in our room - this has worked out pretty well as she's not bothered and he gets used to the house and has a rood old run around.
The shelter where we got Boston did us a plan and it's going as expected. At times it's better, at others it feels worse, but we are making iddy biddy progress.
We've got a couple of those scent calming plug in things on the way but gonna hold off on them till the cats are both in the same space at the same time.

we had the white helmets empting turds from litter trays on day one but it hasn't fostered a sense of calm and harmony in the house.
