I liked the idea of free parties, it's just the people who went to them tended to be disgusting brainwrongs.

I loved the old 80s crusty free festivals
I also loved raves. Combining the two brought out the absolute worst of both and I was highly miffed that parties like Castlemorton brought about the demise of 20 years of illegal festivals in the space of about a year.
